Enroll in Our Comprehensive 24-Hour Course
Join our 24-hour driver education program designed to equip teen drivers with the knowledge and skills necessary for safe driving. Upon completion, you can take the DPS written exam online through our trusted partner provider.
Obtain Your Instruction Permit
Visit the DPS office to obtain your instruction permit. Ensure you bring a Verification of Enrollment (VOE) form from your child's Junior or High School Administration Office. This form is valid for 30 days unless acquired before the school closes for the summer.
Complete Simulator and Behind-the-Wheel Lessons
Schedule and complete both simulator and behind-the-wheel driving lessons with our experienced instructors. These lessons are crucial for developing practical driving skills.
Practice Driving with Parents or Guardians
Accumulate 30 hours of driving practice with your parents or guardians. This hands-on experience is essential for building confidence and competence on the road.
Take the Road Test
After successfully completing all driving lessons and holding a valid Texas permit for six months, you are eligible to take the road test at our driving school on or after your 16th birthday.
TEEN CLASSROOM ONLY
24 Hour Class to get your Instruction Permit.
You can take the class either Online or In-Person.
Both Online Classes can be taken either in English or Spanish.
TEEN BEHIND-THE-WHEEL
Already have your learner's permit? This package fulfils the state requirements for driving lessons, including:
- 7 Hours of In-Car Observation
You must notify your classroom provider to transfer your records to our school. You can take your road test once you are 16 and have had your learner's permit for at least six months.
DRIVING LESSONS
Receive private driving lessons customized to your driving skills. You must present a learner's license to your instructor at each driving lesson. Driving lessons will be conducted in a dual-controlled automobile insured by Learn 2 Drive Academy. Lessons must be paid in full before any driving lessons can be scheduled.
